Music Video Box: New Visuals From Cardi B, Pusha T, Chris Brown + More!

Cardi B

My spirit animal Cardi B is making her Love & Hip-Hop debut this month (although they kept her out of the premiere last night,) and simultaneously launching her music career as well. After delivering a surprisingly solid verse on Shaggy‘s dancehall record “Boom Boom,” Cardi drops her first solo track “Cheap Ass Weave,” a parody about…well, cheap ass weaves.

Before the album drops on Friday, Pusha T surprised fans with the visual to “Crutches, Crosses, Caskets” off of Darkest Before Dawn yesterday. Keeping with the theme of the title, the dark video sees Push on a carousel with some nuns, dressing like and taking part in activities that one wouldn’t consider too holy.

Check out these visuals below, plus new videos from OVO signee Roy Wood$, as well as Chris Brown.

(Photos) The Full Breakdown of Lil Wayne vs. Cash Money (Plus Reactions From His Manager, Tyga & Pusha T)

Lil Wayne Cash Money Records beef x Birdman_LifeIsTremendez

In an even bigger way than Kim Kardashian and her naked photo shoot, Lil Wayne broke the internet yesterday afternoon when he revealed some MAJOR cracks in what the world thought was one of the most solid foundations in music, Cash Money Records. For nearly two decades, Weezy and Birdman have worked side-by-side, building the Cash Money empire which eventually spawned into multiple empires, including Young Money Records and the newly-formed, Rich Gang.

While Wayne has done his own thing with Young Money for years now, it’s always been alongside the Numba 1 Stunna, combining the two into one phrase with YMCMB. (Which stands for Young Money/Cash Money Billionaires.) Since signing under Birdman in the late 90s, Wayne has become one of the biggest rappers in the world, and has gone on to launch the careers of fellow superstars Nicki Minaj, Drake, Tyga and more. Both Tune and Baby have always expressed their love for each other no matter what, but it seems like times most certainly have changed. Could Birdman’s focus on Young Thug and Rich Homie Quan as “Rich Gang” be the issue?

Hot 97 celebrated 20 years of their annual Summer Jam concert last night and, as always, the show was INSANE!

55,000 people were in attendance at New Jersey’s MetLife Stadium, not to mention the TONS of people around the world that tuned in via the live stream. Of course I was there floating around backstage for the night, and I caught a lot of moments that went on behind the scenes!
