Short N’ Sweet Clicks: Daily News Recap 9/29/16

You call her Hillary? I call her Billaryyyy!

Hillary Clinton had Twitter up in arms yesterday, when she revealed her alliance with Pusha T by tweeting out a contest to meet the G.O.O.D. Music rapper. Push has made quite the career off of rapping about drugs and violence, so it’s certainly an interesting choice for the Presidential hopeful. Not to mention, the Clintons were behind mass incarceration with their 1994 crime bill, so this is an interesting alignment for Push as well.

Says Push of the endorsement:

“These past few months, I have been given the opportunity to make an impact on my community and my culture. I will continue to speak for us any chance I get. Thank you @hillaryclinton for listening…”

Some people are swayed by Hillary‘s choice and are now rocking with her, others have been put off by what they feel is pandering, others are appalled at her choice of rapper. On Push‘s end, some are calling him a sellout, while others are praising him for using his platform for good.

At this point, guys, we have to pick the lesser evil, and Hillary is clearly the better option over Trump. #ImWithHer too, Push!

Diddy has always been vocal in every election, encouraging people to vote and make a difference. Remember his ‘Vote or Die‘ campaign in 2004? While speaking to Al Sharpton on MSNBC’s Politics Nation over the weekend, the Bad Boy mogul expressed some disappointment in the POTUS, explaining that he thought more would have been done for the black community during Obama‘s 8 years in office.

“My number one thing, though, to be honest, is black people,” Diddy said. “I feel like we put President Obama in the White House. When I look back, I just wanted more done for my people because that’s the name of the game. This is politics. You put somebody in office you get in return the things that you care about for your communities.” He continued:

Pusha T Releases Tee In Support Of Hillary Clinton With Proceeds Going To Prison Reform

Pusha T x Hillary

Pusha T is officially #WithHer. The VA native announced Friday that he’s backing Hillary Clinton, and did so with the release of a special edition tee-shirt for his clothing line, Play Cloths.

Referencing Hillary’s infamous “Delete Your Account” tweet to Donald Trump, the shirts also feature the hashtag #ImWithHer on the back. All $32 of the cost of the shirt will go to Reimagine Justice, which is “a coalition committed to fund prison reform and post-incarceration rehabilitation.”
