All Star Weekend was a vibe this year! It kicked off Thursday night at the 2018 Global Spin Awards, where I got to chop it up with Jadakiss and Diddy. Iconic! Then it was on to the Ethika party where Slim was DJing, and finished the night at a party at The London – where I met Steph and Ayesha Curry, Allen Iverson and Andre Iguodala!
On Friday I stopped by Adidas’ 747 Warehouse game, but I didn’t stay long because I was EXHAUSTED! Went home and took a nap, then hit Nipsey Hussle‘s party with the homie Malik from Muscle Maker Grill.
The festivities wrapped up on Saturday with a special screening of Black Panther, put together by my girl Jas Fly for hundreds of at-risk youth. How amazing! Following that was the first annual D’usse Palooza, then my hosting – which I’ll make a separate post for. More pics below!
I had the true HONOR of hosting REVOLT’s NYE party, live from Diddy’s house! It was such an amazing night and the perfect way to bring in 2018! Watch the full video recap of the night below, where I interview Lala, Tory Lanez, Joey Bada$$, DJ Khaled and more!
These are all one-off’s that don’t merit their own post, so below are me at the Dipset show in NYC, us at French Montana‘s birthday party and me and Swae Lee at REAL 92.3′s concert.
Above is a meeting with the boss, obvz.
Diddy had quite the merry Christmas this year! Just before Santa hit his house, the music mogul’s Revolt TV channel finally reached a deal with DIRECTV, now bringing it into millions more homes.
“Our new agreement with DIRECTV is further proof we are on a fast track to revolutionizing the media industry,” Puff said in a press release. “We are achieving what we set out to do 18 months ago – our programming is available on more screens, and our audience is bigger and more powerful than ever before. What a great way to end an already successful 2015 and launch us into the new year.”
Perhaps in the celebratory mood, Puff decided to gift his Bad Boy artist French Montana with a cool $1 million later that day. And being equally as giving, French decided to donate it all to the charity he just started in his south Bronx hometown, helping the local schools and young kids. So dope of him!
This was my first time catching a flight for a major event, and I must say, it was so cool!
Funk Flex got myself and Caasi a hotel for the 2012 BET Hip-Hop Awards, and what a time it was! We did dinner with Joey and Kaylin the first night, then hit Club ESSO with Flex, French Montana, Diddy, Waka Flocka, Wale and more.
The next night, Caasi and I got to attend the show, but the after-party was really where it was at! T.I. threw a vibe at his crib, and I chopped it up with Lil Duval, Miguel, Big Boi, Green Lantern, Nelly, mermaids! and more.
