I ended up really drunk before this episode so – there’s a lot of that. LOL! We also discussed the amazing feedback from last week’s show, how “ghostwriters” and “ghost producers” work and then I was bragging about my vagina so Franny got someone on the phone to get the real P report. LMAO!

Cardi B came by Hot 97, Migos came by Hot 97 and I met Too $hort backstage at a concert in LA.
Queen Cardi B was already an internet sensation before Love & Hip-Hop, thanks to her hilarious videos on Instagram, but now she’s a bonafide star. After releasing a couple of songs and teasing a few others on social media, the New York native has released her first official project, Gangsta B*tch Music Vol. 1.
I’ve seen some really great reviews over the last couple of days since the tape has been out, and even hearing a few snippets myself – I’m excited! Could this finally be the first GOOD music release that comes out of L&HH?!
“This mixtape signifies jumping out the window, taking a risk. The process has been amazing, but putting out my music for the world to hear is a super scary feeling, I just hope the world loves it as much as I do!” Cardi says. “I hope they listen to the words, and learn from the lessons and experiences I talk about in my music! I really hope they appreciate it! At the end of the day, I want young girls, and women to listen to the message! Its really simple, you can make it being yourself!”

My spirit animal Cardi B is making her Love & Hip-Hop debut this month (although they kept her out of the premiere last night,) and simultaneously launching her music career as well. After delivering a surprisingly solid verse on Shaggy‘s dancehall record “Boom Boom,” Cardi drops her first solo track “Cheap Ass Weave,” a parody about…well, cheap ass weaves.
Before the album drops on Friday, Pusha T surprised fans with the visual to “Crutches, Crosses, Caskets” off of Darkest Before Dawn yesterday. Keeping with the theme of the title, the dark video sees Push on a carousel with some nuns, dressing like and taking part in activities that one wouldn’t consider too holy.
Check out these visuals below, plus new videos from OVO signee Roy Wood$, as well as Chris Brown.
Normally I steer clear of any music that features Instagram models and/or reality stars. Cardi B happens to be both, but for some reason – I just love her! She’s adorable and real and what you see is what you get, and surprisingly, her verse on reggae legend Shaggy‘s new song is actually pretty dope! I’m pretty sure she didn’t write it, though…but that’s neither here nor there.
Below, check out the remix to Shaggy‘s “Boom Boom” featuring Cardi B and Popcaan, and let us know your thoughts! Cardi‘s debut on Love & Hip-Hop begins on VH1 on December 4.
