Not that I needed a reason to head to my second home, but being that Cipha and Drewski had already planned this trip – I decided to tag along. My first day there I hit Six Flags Magic Mountain with my homie JP and then linked with Cipha to head over to the UCB Theater where he guest-hosted that night’s improv show. I got to meet Zach Woods from The Office and Lauren Lapkus from Orange Is The New Black! So dope!
After that, we hit the Young California HQ with DJ Carisma and Abby De La Rosa, and then Belasco for Wiz’s show with Ty Dolla $ign…and they had the kid on the red carpet! No idea what I was talking about. LOL!
The following day, Cipha and Rosenberg set up a mini press-run to promote their roles on VH1’s This Is Hot 97. We hit Big Boy’s Neighborhood at Power 106, ESPN Radio and Skee TV, and stopped by a Jimmy Kimmel taping. That night, we had dinner with Wiz and Amber at the Chateau Marmont (try their spaghetti – bomb as fawwwwk!) and then I split from the crew to link with Slim and MGK. Long day but hella fun!
As for the rest of the L.A. trip: of course I had to hit Roscoe’s and In-N-Out. Shout to my homie David Ali who brought us over to Pink Dolphin, where Cena let us pick out whatever we wanted. Love! Hit-Boy hosted Cipha’s show at the UCB. Supperclub was a movie. Shout to Miss Diddy, Steve Lobel, Future, Wale, Tip and The Game who were all in the building. The guys all left to Vegas on Thursday night, so Friday I had a free day. I linked up with Tunechi who’s in L.A. working on Carter V, then stopped by Karen’s new place – AMAZING!
