A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie scored big with his debut album, The Bigger Artist. The project debuted at number 4 on the Billboard 200, selling a solid 67k units in its first week! The reviews have been really good for the album too, so I have a feeling this will stay in the top 10 for a while!
Elsewhere on the chart, Tank, Rittz, PARTYNEXTDOOR and Smokepurpp all made their debuts as well, but none came even close to A Boogie‘s success. Tank‘s new album Savage debuted at number 39 with 13k, Smokepupp‘s Deadstar came in at number 42 with nearly 13k, Rittz‘s Last Call came in at number 43 with 12k and worst of all – PND‘s Seven Days EP came in at number 82 with just 8k units. Not sure what that’s about!
Looking ahead to next week, Lil Pump is set to make his chart debut with his self-titled debut album. Currently, the project is predicted to sell around 35-40k, which will likely land him in the top 10. In the meantime, check out this week’s top 10 below!
This week, Derek was out of town, so my homie Anthez joined us for an hour of f*ckery. We discussed his GoFundMe for white people to send him to Africa (what, LOL), my conversations with my parents about the NFL players who are kneeling vs. Trump and more!

There are three big debuts in the top 10 on the Billboard 200 this week. Macklemore is the highest up, with his new album GEMINI coming in at number two with 51k. Following the Seattle native is Kevin Gates with the official debut of By Any Means 2. The album hit the Billboard 200 last week, but it was at number 100 as it was only out for one day of the tracking week. Now with a full 7 days, the album comes in at number 4 with 40k.
Right behind Gates is Jhene Aiko, with her new project Trip coming in at number 5 with 37k. Shout out to Mike Zombie on the “Overstimulated” track!
Looking ahead to next week, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie‘s debut album, The Bigger Artist, is looking at 50-55k. This should put him in the top 10, and possibly even in the top 5! In the meantime, check out this week’s top 10 below.
Joined by rapper and Instagram personality Guap Dad 4000, we have a hilarious episode discussing his comeup, some sketchy scenarios and how Joyce trolled Guap Dad on Instagram.

Thanks to the release of his new single “Rockstar” with 21 Savage, Post Malone‘s 2016 album Stoney has popped back into the top 10 on the Billboard 200. It’s never really strayed too far, however, as last week it was nearby at number 17. The track is actually not on Stoney, however, and will likely live on a new project.
Elsewhere on the chart, the debut self-titled album from Prophets of Rage (Public Enemy’s Chuck D and DJ Lord, Cypress Hill’s B-Real and Rage Against The Machine’s Tom Morello, Tim Commerford and Brad Wilk) landed at number 16 on the chart, which is really solid! Kevin Gates‘ By Any Means 2 didn’t fare nearly as well, however.
The projected debuted at number 100 with only 7k in sales, which is a HUGE change from his number 2 debut in 2016 with Islah. However, it could be the fact that it was released a day early, which likely filtered it into the previous sales week. In other words, the 7k number may only be ONE day worth of sales, not a full week, and next week we could see the real first week sales.
Looking ahead to next week, Jhene Aiko‘s surprise album Trip is expected to sell around 28-32k units. Surprisingly low, no? We’ll see the final tally next week, but in the meantime, check out this week’s top 10 below!
There is nothing quite notable about the Billboard 200 at all this week. Lil Uzi Vert and XXXTentacion both remain in the top 10 for their third week, though they’ve slipped to number 4 and number 6, respectively. (Previously they were number 1 and number 2, then number 2 and number 3.)
Other than that, there’s nothing really to report and no big debuts to look ahead to next week. That being said, check out this week’s top 10 below and check back next week for the new chart!
On this week’s episode of Marisa Explains It All, Derek and I recap the insanity that was Day N’ Night Fest…from his ridiculous clothing choice to interviewing Guap Dad 4000, seeing an old flame and more! Plus, we found out another rapper that Joyce sent her feet to. WHY?! LOL! (Zombz will be back next week, by the way!)
