Almost a year ago to the day, Rich Homie Quan filed suit against his former label, T.I.G. Records. In the $2 million suit, Quan accused T.I.G.’s owner of stealing his money to buy himself a home in Atlanta and pocketing way too much from the deal he had signed with Def Jam for distribution of his singles, “Flex” and “Type Of Way.”
Months later, T.I.G. fired back with a counter-suit, accusing Quan of breaching their contract, and they’re also demanding an injunction against him from releasing any music, as well as prohibiting him from signing with another record label. As of today, however, all parties have settled.
According to new a press release, the parties have negotiated a settlement out of court. The amount is not revealed, but everyone seems satisfied! Now let’s get that album, Quan!
